Requirements for a valid POR
- Issued within the last 3 months (for bank statements and utility bills).
- Must clearly show your full name.
- Must clearly show your residential address.
- Must be clear, readable, and complete.
- Address must match your declared country of residence.
- All four corners of the document must be in the frame.
- Digital statements are accepted only as PDF downloads from the official source — not screenshots of app screens.

- Utility Bills (Optional) — optional field for extra utility bill uploads.
Troubleshooting
If you run into issues, the most common causes and fixes are listed below.
Your POR was rejected because it is too old
- Bank statements and utility bills must be issued within the last 3 months. Download or request a more recent statement and resubmit.
A screenshot of your mobile banking app was rejected
- Screenshots of banking apps are not accepted. Log in to your bank's online portal on a desktop browser and download the PDF statement directly, then upload the PDF.
The address on your POR does not match your Profile Information
- The POR address must match the address you entered in the Profile Information section. If your address has recently changed, update it in Profile Information before submitting a POR that shows the new address.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Is a mobile phone bill accepted as POR?
A: The current INGOT SC list of accepted POR documents is bank statement, utility bill (electricity, water, internet, gas), credit card statement, and bank reference letter. Please choose one of these.
Q: Can I use a lease agreement?
A: Yes
Q: My bank sends statements every 6 months — what should I do?
A: Ask your bank for a current statement of account (dated within the last 3 months), or provide a different accepted POR document (utility bill, credit card statement, or bank reference letter).
Q: Can I upload a document in a language other than English?
A: For personal POR documents, if the layout is standard and your name and address are recognizable, it can usually be accepted.
