Overview
Wire Transfer is a flexible deposit method, especially useful for larger deposits. This article walks you through how to find INGOT's banking details and initiate the wire from your bank.
Note that your bank and any intermediary banks may charge their own fees — these are outside INGOT's control.
Step-by-step instructions
Follow the steps below to complete this process:
Steps
- Log in to your Client Portal Dashboard.
- Go to Funds Management → Deposit Funds.
- Select Wire Transfer.
- Review the fees, maximum deposit, and processing time shown.
- On the right side of the page, click "Check Our Payment Banking Details" to view INGOT's bank account information.
- Initiate the transfer from your bank using INGOT's banking details.
Payment reference — critical
- Always include your Deposit receipt in the payment reference field.
- This helps our team match the incoming wire to your account.
- Missing or incorrect references can delay processing significantly.
Key rules for wire deposits
- The bank account must be in your own name — INGOT does not process third-party bank transfers.
- Your bank may charge outgoing wire fees — outside INGOT's control.
- Intermediary banks may deduct fees during international routing.
Troubleshooting
If you run into issues, the most common causes and fixes are listed below.
Your wire hasn't arrived
- Wire transfers can take longer if your bank routes through intermediary banks. Check the processing time shown on the Wire Transfer page. If it's past that time, contact Customer Experience via live chat with the wire reference and date.
The amount credited is lower than what you sent
- Your bank or intermediary banks may have deducted their own transfer fees. These are outside INGOT's control. Check your Account Transactions to see the exact amount credited.
You forgot to include the payment reference
- Contact Customer Experience via live chat with the wire details (date, amount, sender bank). Our team can manually match the incoming wire, but it will take longer than a properly referenced wire.
