How to download the MetaTrader platform

You can download the correct MetaTrader version for your device directly from the account's three-dot menu. The available options match the platform of the selected account (MT4 or MT5).

MetaTrader Web is also available if you don't want to install anything.

Step-by-step instructions

Follow the steps below to complete this process:

Steps

  • Log in to your Client Portal Dashboard.
  • Select Accounts from the left-side menu.
  • Locate your trading account.
  • Click the three vertical dots (⋮) beside the account.
  • Select Download Platform.
  • Choose the version you need and follow the installation instructions.

Available versions

  • MetaTrader for Windows — desktop trading, best for professional use.
  • MetaTrader for Android — trade on the go from Android phones and tablets.
  • MetaTrader for iOS — trade on the go from iPhone and iPad.
  • MetaTrader Web — trade directly in your browser, no download needed.

After installing — logging in

  • Trading account number — from your account card in the Accounts tab.
  • Trading account password — the Master password (unless you're logging in read-only with the Investor password).
  • Server — INGOTSC-Server for Live, INGOTSC-Demo (MT4) or INGOTSC-Demo2 (MT5) for Demo.

  • The download link doesn't open

    • Refresh the page and try again. Try a different browser (Chrome or Firefox usually work best).

  • You installed the wrong version

    • MT4 and MT5 are separate applications. Confirm your account's platform on the account card, then download the matching version. MT4 accounts only log in to MT4; MT5 accounts only log in to MT5.

  • MetaTrader Web isn't loading properly

    • Refresh the page. Try a different browser (Chrome or Firefox work best). Confirm cookies are enabled. If the issue persists, contact Customer Experience.
