How to open a Demo account – INGOT Brokers

Overview

Demo accounts are the perfect way to practise trading, test strategies, or learn a new platform — all without risking real money.

You can open unlimited Demo accounts under the same Client Portal, on MT4 or MT5, EVO or Standard.

Follow the steps below to complete this process:

Log in to your Client Portal Dashboard.
Select Accounts from the left-side menu.
Click Create Account in the top-right.
Select Open a Demo Account.
Choose your platform, account type (EVO or Standard), currency, leverage, and virtual deposit amount.
Click Create.

Your Demo account will appear immediately under Accounts → Demo Accounts.
Demo funds are virtual — trading results have no monetary value.
Demo accounts use dedicated demo servers: INGOTSC-Demo (MT4) or INGOTSC-Demo2 (MT5).
You can open unlimited Demo accounts to test different strategies side by side.

If you run into issues, the most common causes and fixes are listed below.

Your Demo account doesn't appear
- Refresh the Accounts page and switch to the Demo Accounts tab. If it still doesn't appear, try creating it again — Demo account creation is normally instant.
You can't log in to your new Demo account on MT4/MT5
- Make sure you're using the correct demo server: INGOTSC-Demo for MT4 and INGOTSC-Demo2 for MT5. See the login troubleshooting article for details.

Q: Do I need to complete KYC to open a Demo account?

A: No. Demo accounts don't require KYC because they use virtual funds.

Q: How many Demo accounts can I open?

A: Unlimited. You can create as many as you need for testing strategies or trying different account types.

Q: Do Demo accounts have swap charges?

A: No. Demo accounts don't apply swap charges regardless of type.
