Overview
If you are not receiving emails from INGOT — including password reset emails, 2FA verification codes, or welcome emails — this article walks you through the most common causes and fixes.
Most missing-email issues are caused by spam filters, mistyped email addresses, or email deliverability settings.
Step-by-step instructions
Run through these checks in order:
- Check your spam, junk, promotions, and updates folders.
- Confirm the email address you used is the one registered to your INGOT account.
- Add customerservice@ingotbrokers.com to your safe sender list to prevent future emails from being filtered.
- Wait up to 10 minutes during high traffic before assuming the email is lost.
- If still not received, request a new email (for password resets or 2FA codes) or contact Customer Experience for welcome emails.
Troubleshooting
The email is in your spam folder
- Move it to your inbox and mark it as Not Spam to help future emails arrive correctly.
You entered the wrong email when requesting a reset
- Try again with the email registered to your INGOT account. If unsure, contact Customer Experience to confirm the registered email on file.
Your email provider is blocking INGOT emails
- Add customerservice@ingotbrokers.com to your safe sender list, and check that your email account has not flagged the domain.
You no longer have access to your registered email
- For security, email changes require identity re-verification. Contact Customer Experience with a clear photo of your government-issued ID (front and back) and a selfie of you holding the ID.
You receive some INGOT emails but not others
- Some clients have filters that catch specific types of emails. Check your email rules and filters, and confirm INGOT's domain is whitelisted.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What domain do INGOT emails come from?
A: Most account emails come from customerservice@ingotbrokers.com. Other automated emails (such as trading platform notifications) may come from related domains.
Q: How long should I wait before assuming an email is lost?
A: Allow up to 10 minutes during high traffic periods. If nothing has arrived by then, the email likely failed to deliver.
Q: Can I request the same email multiple times?
A: Yes. You can request a password reset or 2FA code multiple times, but each new request invalidates the previous one — only the most recent link or code will work.
Q: Will my reset email expire?
A: Yes. Password reset links expire after 30 to 60 minutes. 2FA codes expire much faster — typically within a minute or two.
